In today’s video, we’re making a DIY No Sew Spring Pillow Cover! This may be my easiest project to date. You only need a few items and you’ll be ready to go! As a matter of fact, you may already have everything you need right there at home. Here’s how to make it:

  • Choose your pillow (this may be the hardest part!).
  • Remove the flowers from the stem (I didn’t use wire cutters, I just pulled them off). Note: I used hydrangeas but you could also use tea roses or any other flower of your choice that would fit.
  • Add hot glue to the edge of a flower petal and press onto the pillow.
  • Continue adding flowers until you’ve covered the area.
  • If you do not want to glue your flowers directly to a pillow, you could cut felt or burlap, add the flowers to that fabric and then pin it onto your pillow. This would be a great idea for a temporary design.
  • That is all, you’re done!

Throw pillows that will work well for this project…

    Hello,

I like the pillow. I actually made one years back for my mother-in-law for Christmas. I actually used the whole head of various rose sizes with variegated colors. Thanks for your instructions. I like crafty stuff. I like your chair – totally my style and color way – where did you get it?

Great idea and I purchased the chair from Home Goods.

Love this. Several years ago, I did large plastic easter eggs this way. They were for a tablescape for an Easter party. It never occurred to me to do a pillow. I love it!!! The large eggs done this way would be cute in wreaths
