I used to grow Ranunculus for cut flowers and believe it or not they’re an early spring flower. They grow from what is called a corm. They absolutely hate the heat. It will shut them down in a New York second. If I would get a heat wave in my greenhouse they were gone. They would go dormant and quit blooming.
