Etsy Branding – Shop Cover Image in Canva

The shop banner displays across the top of your Etsy Shop homepage. It is the most prominent graphic that buyers see when visiting your shop. Shoppers only see your cover banner when they’re already in your shop.  Branding your shop could give shoppers more confidence in buying from you, but it won’t help you get found in Etsy search. 

Etsy Shop Cover Image Tips:

• Etsy gives two banner options
  • Big Banner – 3360 x 840 pixels
  • Mini Banners Size – 1200 x 160 pixels 
• Use your best photography. 
• Use text sparingly because most buyers shop from mobile, the more text you add the smaller it’ll be.
• If you have Etsy Plus:
  • You can use the collage feature to easily select 4 products and Etsy will build your banner
  • You can use the carousel feature to create 4 banners that rotate throughout your banner space on your shop

To manage your shop banners:

1. On Etsy.com, click Shop Manager.
2. Click the pencil icon next to your shop name under Sales Channels.
3. Click the pencil icon to the bottom right of your banner.
4. Click Change layout.
5. Select the type of banner you want.
6. Click Done.
