Fall Cream Faux Sunflower Grapevine Wreath

Fall cream faux sunflower wreath
Fall is so close I can almost taste it! And I’m welcoming in the changing seasons with this lovely fall cream wreath design.
I’ve chosen a unique autumn color palette that’ll make folks stop and marvel at its beauty – filled with moss green, lavender, and cream.

Supplies for this project
You’ll need:
- 16” grapevine wreath
- Cream sunflowers
- Muted hydrangeas
- Pumpkin sprays
- Purple textured bush
- Cream berries
- Faux fern greenery
- 2.5″ Wired Ribbon
- 1.5″ Wired Ribbon
- 5/8″ Wired Ribbon
- Florist wire
- Hot glue
- Steel picks or wooden floral picks
- Green florist tape
- Wire cutters
How to make a fall cream wreath with faux sunflowers
1. Create your fall bow
The first step in your faux sunflower grapevine wreath is to tie your bow.
Start with a 2.5” green striped ribbon and measure a 20” tail, pinch, and pleat. Then, measure 12” for a 6” loop, pinch, pleat, and twist. Repeat for a total of three loops, and then trim the tail.
Repeat these steps with your 1.5” Swiss dot green ribbon, then a ⅝” cream lace ribbon, working on top of one another. Add a final 5” loop of green stripe ribbon to the center, plus a couple of extra Swiss dot ribbon streamers to the back of the bow.
Secure the center with a florist wire and attach it to the left side of your grapevine wreath. Trim and dovetail ribbon ends as needed.
2. Include fall pumpkin sprays
Next, insert your first pumpkin spray behind the top of your bow, securing the stem with hot glue. Use a bit of florist wire to secure the opposite end of the spray to your grapevine.
Repeat these steps with your pumpkin spray, this time adding it to the bottom of your bow.
3. Add silk florals
For your focal florals, evenly disperse 4 large cream sunflowers and trimmed-down hydrangeas throughout the base, securing with hot glue.
If you have short stems, add a wooden or steel pick to the end, disguising them with a bit of florist tape.
4. Decorate with texture
For added texture, add three punches of purple-flowered bush evenly through the base.
Then, add small clippings of cream berries.
5. Finishing your fall cream wreath
To finish your wreath, fill in any holes with pieces of faux fern, focusing on the outer edge of the wreath.
Add additional ribbon streamers at the bottom of your wreath, fluff your elements, and your fall cream wreath is ready to display!
