Spring rose grapevine wreath
Spring is my favorite season to make wreaths. What can I say? I’m all about the flowers!
This rose wreath contains gentle reminders of the season with lavender freesia, yellow mimosas, and pink spring roses.
Floral ribbons tie the look together for a cohesive springtime appeal.

How to make a spring rose grapevine wreath: Step-by-step tutorial
1. Make your spring bow
Your first step to this spring grapevine wreath is to make your bow.
Begin by measuring a 14-inch tail of your yellow floral ribbon, pinching and twisting at the mark; you can use your hands or an optional bow maker.
Next, measure out three 6-inch loops, pinching and twisting as you go. Trim the end of your ribbon, leaving a tail.
Then, repeat the process with your lavender ribbon making two 6-inch loops, trimming, and leaving a tail at the end.
Finally, take your florist wire and secure the middle of your bow. Make sure your loops are even and fluffed before pulling your wire tightly.
This bow is going to add great spring color to your wreath!
2. Attach your bow
Next, add your bow to your grapevine wreath using florist wire, feeding through the vines and securing it as tightly as possible.
3. Set your greenery foundation
Add your foundation greenery to your wreath. Tuck one bunch behind your bow, going upwards and bending to fit the curve of your wreath. Secure with hot glue.
Repeat this step with a second bunch at the bottom of your wreath, bending it to fit the curve of your wreath once again.
You can tack down the ends of your greenery with some florist wire to keep everything in place.
4. Add your silk flowers
Now for the flowers!
Trim and add your pink silk roses to your wreath, moving outwards from the bow and following the natural direction of your wreath.
Next, add your lavender freesia, spacing evenly for gorgeous color and length.
Finally, fill in with yellow mimosas.
5. Fill in with greenery
For any sparse areas, fill your wreath with additional greenery clipping for texture, shape, and height.
You’ll also want to hot glue small pieces of greenery to fill in around the bow loop area, better incorporating it into the design.
6. Add your finishing touches
Finishing touches make all the difference!
I added an additional yellow streamer to the bottom of the wreath to add length and draw the eye.
Dovetail your ribbon ends, fluff your bow and greenery, and make sure your florals stand out.
And you’re done – a stunning spring rose wreath.
This is just beautiful, great job. I do love your work.
I love this wreath, I think the twigs were added after the video and before the picture. Can you tell me what they are and where you purchased? Thanks

Julie, I love your work. I hope one day I can be 1/2 of what you do. I love it. 1- where is the best place to go and buy ribbon and mesh for someone like me? I don’t have a permit to sell. I sold some to friends only. It costs me 35.00 to 50.00 to make a wreath. I am in TX, Fort Worth. I’m at Etsy under LucreCreations. I would love for you to see them and tell me your thoughts. I know the pl is trying to be friendly and say, “oh, how beautiful,” but it takes someone like you to tell us the truth. Thank You for your time. I hope you can take the time. I would be very grateful to you.
