But the real trick? It looks styled and realistic without appearing overly done. You’ll probably trick some folks into believing this centerpiece came straight from the florist!

Made with frosty greenery, snowy white roses, and a touch of cedar for contrast, this centerpiece is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Supplies for this project

You’ll need: 

• Round winter container (weighted)
• Florist foam
• Spanish moss 
• Faux greenery
  • Long needle pine 
  • Pine 
  • Icy eucalyptus
  • Flocked cedar
  • Green cedar
• Silk flowers
  • Snowy white roses
• Hot glue 
• Clippers 
• Florist wire

How to make a flocked rose centerpiece

1. Prep your container

Begin by prepping your container and adding weight to the bottom if it isn’t already weighted. 

Then, add a cut of florist foam to the container, laying Spanish moss on top to help cover the foam. 

2. Establish your shape 

Next, we’re going to establish the shape with long-needle pine. 

Dip a long stem into hot glue, adding to your base. Then, add a second piece on the other side, creating a long horizontal line. 

You can bring the height down of this second branch by laying the piece flat and using a small bit of metal wire to secure it. 

Then, add small clippings of leftover pine to fill in and connect the two stems. 

3. Fill in with short-needle pine

Add clippings of short needle pine throughout the container, filling in while keeping that horizontal line established. Secure with hot glue. 

4. Add flocked roses

Now, onto the flowers!

Add clippings of flocked roses throughout the arrangement, keeping stems long around the edge for a whimsical beauty. Secure with hot glue. 

Add shorter stems to the center to keep your established form.

Make sure that your roses are evenly distributed for visual interest and a smooth flush of white. 

5. Include textured greenery

Next, add stems of flocked eucalyptus throughout the arrangement, remembering to secure with hot glue. 

The rounded leaves add good texture to the design while contributing to the long lines of the arrangement. 

Repeat this with flocked cedar for even more texture, then darker green cedar for extra depth and color contrast. 

Ensure your line is well-established. If needed, add additional clippings of greenery to fill in any holes. 

And with that, your gorgeous flocked rose centerpiece is ready to greet the masses!
