Supplies for this project

You’ll need:

  • 30” Pine base
  • Faux greenery
    • Iced white cedar
    • Fluffy, snowy greenery
    • Holly bush
  • Red Christmas ornaments
  • Candy cane picks
  • Peppermint picks
  • Silk wired ribbon
    • 2 ½” Red plaid
  • Faux flowers
    • Red roses
    • White blossoms
  • Hot glue
  • Clippers
  • Florist wire

How to make a red and white long table arrangement

1. Prep the base

Pine arrangement bases come flat in the box. So, your first step is to fluff it up!

Pull the pine pieces up and outward for a solid base.

2. Add dimension with greenery

Next, you’re going to begin building some dimension with greenery, adding clippings of flocked cedar throughout the arrangement and securing with hot glue.

Repeat this step with fluffy, snowy greenery for more texture and diverse color.

3. Include holiday ornaments

For a holiday touch, glue one red holiday ornament on each side of the arrangement, diagonal from one another.

4. Add ribbon loops

For a beautiful spread of red color, add two red ribbon loops diagonal from each other, opposite the holiday ornaments.

Secure using florist wire and hot glue.

5. Include faux flowers

For a natural touch, hot glue red roses evenly throughout the arrangement.

Then, begin filling in around these focal flowers with smaller, white blossoms. This provides excellent contrast and perfectly matches the color scheme!

6. Use candy-inspired touches

If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love these candy accents!

Add a few whimsical candy cane picks around the outer edge of the arrangement, securing them with ample hot glue.

Include peppermint candy picks using the same concept, peppering these candies throughout the arrangement.

7. Finishing touches

For the final touches on this red and white long table arrangement, add small cuttings of holly bush and berries throughout.

This will fill in any remaining holes and provide a last texturizing element.

Then, turn your design over and trim any long stems that have come through the base.

Fluff up your elements, add any last details, and your holiday arrangement is ready to greet your guests!
