Supplies Needed to Resize a Grapevine wreath

  • Rustic wire
  • Brown floral tape
  • Cable Ties
  • Wire cutters
  • Hot glue
  • Moss

Steps to resize your grapevine wreath – Step by Step Tutorial

1. Find the end of the Wreath

Start by finding the end of your grapevine wreath. This is the vein that holds the whole wreath together. Pull that end out and unravel it. Then put that vine to the side.

2. Start Pulling Apart the Grapevine

Next pull apart the grapevine, grabbing it from each side and pulling it apart from the middle. You will work your way all the way around. Repeat this one a second grapevine

3. Repostion your Grapevine

Now on one of your grapevine wreaths take the top portion and separate it into two sections. Bring the top down to the middle of the wreath. Zip tie your two sections together at the bottom.

Grab your second grapevine and repeat the same process, pulling the grapevine apart into two separate sections and pulling one section down, and zip tying the bottom.

Keep working with your grapevines until you have them exactly how you like them.

4. Secure your two Grapevines together

Now zip tie the two grapevines together and make sure it is secured really tight. Once they are secure cut the excess cable tie strands off.

5. Hide your mechanics

Cover up all your mechanics by adding hot glue on top of the areas that have cable ties and start covering it with moss. Now your wreath is ready to start adding to!
